Travels into Art

Decreed in 1998 property of UNESCO, the town represents the Renaissance of the new millennium. The Ducal Palace, built by the great Federico da Montefeltro is a wonderful example of architecture and  houses the National Gallery of the Marches with precious paintings by Piero della Francesca, Laurane and Raphael,  whose house has been converted into a museum.

Pesaro boasts the precious mosaics of the Cathedral, the Art Gallery, the Museum of Ceramics and the Rossini Foundation, an institution for music, renowned all over the world.

The visit to the Roman Fano can only start from the “'Arch of Augustus”, symbol of the city, built on the spot where the Flaminia engages in Decumano Massimo. This monument dates back to the 9th A.D. From here we encounter the Walls Augustea also  wanted by 'Emperor Augustus. In the medieval part of the  Malatestiana court,  there are the Picture Gallery, the Archaeological Museum, and the tombs of the Malatesta.
